Over more than five months, we have collected 481 proxy ballots from members. Thank you to those members for their participation in improving the operations of our community. Unfortunately, that is still only 73% of the community. At present, we do not have enough ballots (75% in favor) to determine a result with respect to amending our governing documents. Accordingly, the special meeting to determine a result on June 21, 2017 has been canceled. Please return your ballots if you have not. It is very important! The meeting will be rescheduled at such time that we have enough ballots to determine a result.
Here is a breakdown of the proxy ballot votes in favor of each amendment thus far:
A (Prohibits Sexual Offenders) – 71%
B (Lease Restrictions) – 56%
C (Allow Fall/Halloween Decorations) – 65%
D (Allow Electronic Communications) – 67%
E (Change Meeting Date to Second Quarter) – 71%
F (Quorum Change for Valid Meetings) – 57%
G (Board Members Must be In Good Standing) – 71%
H (Allow Board to Enact Reasonable Rules) – 44%
I (Permits Late Charge) – 63%
