The Waterford Warriors Swim Team is a 5-time Champion of the Strongsville Swim League. Waterford’s swim team is made up of the young residents in our development.
Despite comprising members of the community, the swim team is a separate organization that is completely independent of the HOA. However, use of community facilities, including the pool, requires all HOA assessments/changes be current. Accordingly, members not current with HOA assessments/changes are not eligible for the swim team.
Swim Meets at Waterford Crossing
Usually there are 3 or 4 home meets in a season. These meets typically do not occur on the weekend. The Clubhouse is reserved for home meet dates for the Swim Team’s use. The newly remodeled pool building bathrooms (not the clubhouse bathrooms) are to be used by our swim meet members and guests. Parking for these meets can be problematic with the number of cars involved. Parking on the grass is prohibited. Legal parking on streets is the supplemental parking area for these meets. We encourage drivers to slow down and be especially careful as they drive through Waterford on these busy days with young children about and many cars parked in the streets.
