The Annual Meeting has been typically held the last week in January at the Clubhouse. Going forward, it will be held in April, May, or June as noted below:
Per Amendment E to the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions, “The Association’s Annual Meeting will be held at such time, at such place, and on such date during the second quarter of each calendar year as the Board determines and is stated in the meeting notice, for the election of Directors, the consideration of reports to be laid before the meeting, and the transaction of such other business as is set forth in the meeting notice.”
Annual Meetings require participation by a majority of members to achieve quorum for the meeting to be deemed valid; therefore, with 656 members in our association, 329 members are required to participate in person or by proxy. Efforts by the Board in 2017-2018 to reduce the quorum requirement via a separate amendment of our governing documents were not successful.
