The sand volleyball court is located next to the clubhouse. The court is reserved for clubhouse renters and is not available to other members on days of rental, which rental schedule is noted on our calendar here. On days without rentals, the court is available to all members. We ask that if multiple groups seek use of the court, then please mind the queue but limit your playing time so others can enjoy the volleyball court as well. We are pleased to note that the volleyball court sees a great deal of use.
Matters to be mindful of…
Occasionally during play, the volleyball can clear the nearby pool area perimeter fence. The existing fence was damaged when players climbed over it to retrieve the ball. Please be advised that climbing any fence on the premises is prohibited. If the ball enters the pool area, then assistance within the pool area or entry via the pool gate is the means of retrieving the ball. In the event that neither option is viable, climbing the fence is still not permitted. Any persons climbing a fence are subject to warning and or loss of member privileges. Any damages to HOA property are the responsibility of those causing the damage. Video recordings are available for crime prevention and detection.
In addition, sand that gets on your person should not be tracked into the clubhouse or the pool. Sand can be difficult to clean up and may affect proper pool function. We ask that anyone with sand on them intending to use the pool first use the outdoor shower on the side of the pool pump house before entering the pool. The lifeguards have been instructed to enforce this policy. Violators may lose pool privileges.
In short, please respect others and the recreation facility property. Thank you.
